Meeting started at 8:30 a.m.
Sandra Holder welcomed everyone to the meeting and had the Committee members
introduce themselves. Sandra Holder introduced the City staff that was present and
acknowledged those from the public that were present.
The Committee members decided not to choose a chair and/or vice-chair and to have
the Facilitator conduct the meetings.
Michael Holzmiller and Gary Barberio explained the items listed on the Agenda for the
meeting. The Committee discussed some of the topics on the Agenda.

The Committee reviewed the draft press release about the Committee and where to
obtain information regarding the Committee, meetings, etc.
The date of September 27, 2007 was suggested to the Committee as a tentative date
for the Public Workshop. The suggested location was The Crossings at Carlsbad
Clubhouse.

There were two members of the public that spoke.
The meeting adjourned at 10:30 a.m.
