OLD BUSINESS; Deloss McGraw. Artwork for the Library Connie Beardsley stated that the architects had expressed concerns about the artwork that had been proposed. There are 2,000 words as part of the book to be placed on the wall. The size of the letters and the height of the framed pages will make it very difficult to read. At this time, an alternative has been suggested, and that would be to have six large paintings placed on the wall, with the book to be placed in a separate location. Ms. Beardsley said the Commission can choose the original plan or this alternative plan. The Art Commission accepted the proposal of six paintings by Deloss McGraw to be placed on the wall of the Library, with a book to be placed on display separately.
