ARTS & CULTURE PLAN DRAFT REVIEW
Cultural Arts Manager Richard Schultz distributed copies of the Arts & Culture Plan draft document
and Commissioners and staff met to offer input and recommendations for refinement of the Arts &
Culture plan prior to completion.
The themes included:
• Business Sector
• Learning Opportunities
• Capacity Building
• Distinct Identities
• Physical Realm
• Everyday life
Each theme was discussed in-depth, followed by a summary/wrap up section. Each theme included
an overview introduced by a Cultural Arts staff member. Then, the commissioners were polled for
their top three action items from each section, followed by a discussion of top items and other merits
of the section.
