CARLSBAD TOURISM BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
BOARD MEETING
February 20, 2018

Board Member Stripe called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m.

Ill. AB 2-18-161 GROUP INCENTIVE PROGRAM GUIDELINES
Chairperson Stripe noted that in the first paragraph, second line, " ... La Costa Limo or other
transportation ... " should be added. Chairperson Stripe also stated the sixth bullet under Terms
and Conditions should read "Cash incentives are to be paid to a transportation ... " He further
stated that "and" should be added after items 1 and 2.
Motion by Board Member Rauch, seconded by Board Member Samietz, to approve the revised
group incentive guidelines as modified. Motion approved 5-0 with Board Members Idris and Sims
absent.
VIII. NEXT MEETING
The Board agreed to hold a meeting April 18, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Agenda topics to include:
1. Visit Carlsbad Proposal for 2018-19
