CALL TO ORDER:

Chairperson Stripe called the Regular Meeting to order at 2:05 p.m.
Chairperson Stripe, Board Members Rauch, Canepa, and Chapin
Board Members Gray and Hughes absent
CONSENT CALENDAR:
(C) Ill. APPROVE MINUTES OF OCTOBER 23, 2019
No quorum, carried over to next Board meeting.
REPORTS AND DISCUSSION ITEMS:
IV. STAFF REPORT
Staff Liaison Cheryl Gerhardt presented financial update for month ending 12-31-19.
Board member Rauch presented an update from the Strategic Growth Plan Subcommittee.
V. AB 01-20-187 APPROVE APPOINTMENT TO VISITCARLSBAD BOARD
Motion by Board Member Rauch, seconded by Board Member Chapin, to approve
recommendation by the Visit Carlsbad Board to appoint Anthony Dicataldo to the Visit Carlsbad
Board. Motion carried 4-0 (Gray and Hughes absent).
VI. AB 1-20-188 VISITCARLSBAD QUARTERLY REPORTs
The Board received a report from Mark Rudyk, from Visit Carlsbad, for the quarter ending
December 31, 2019.
VII. NEXT MEETING
The Board agreed to hold the next meeting March 11, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Agenda topics to include:
• Visit Carlsbad Update
