PLACE OF MEETING: City Council Chambers CALL TO ORDER: Council Member Kulchin called the Meeting to order at 4:33 p.m. ROLL CALL was taken by the Assistant City Clerk as follows: Present: Council Members Hall, Finnila, and Kulchin. Absent: Mayor Pro-Tern Nygaard and Mayor Lewis. CLOSED SESSION: 74 1. CLOSED SESSION TO DISCUSS EMPLOYER-EMPLOYEE RELATIONS AND NEGOTIATIONS. Council adjourned to Closed Session at 4:33 p.m., pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6, to discuss employer-employee relations, salaries, salary schedules and compensation with designated staff as labor negotiators, with respect to negotiations with the CCEA, CPOA, the Police Management Association employee organizations, and unrepresented employees. 81 2. CLOSED SESSION REGARDING POTENTIAL ACQUISITION OF REAL PROPERTY. Council held a Closed Session, pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.8. to discuss the potential purchase, exchange, or other acquisition of real property owned by the Allan 0. Kelly Trust, located in the Northeast Quadrant of the City, east of El Camino Real, and south of Lake Calavera, generally identified as the Kelly Del Cerro property, Assessors Parcel Nos.: 168-050- 03, 06, 07 and 168-050-25, 26. Council reconvened at 5:55 p.m., with three Members present and Council Member Kulchin announced that the Closed Session would be continued when Mayor Lewis arrived. (Mayor Lewis arrived at 6:29 p.m., during the Regular Meeting.) CONTINUATION OF CLOSED SESSION: Council adjourned to Closed Session at 6:44 p.m., with four Members present and Mayor Pro- Tem Nygaard absent, to continue the discussion regarding 1) Employer-Employee Relations and Negotiations (pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6); and 2) the Potential Acquisition of Real Property (pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.8). Council reconvened at 7:08 p.m., with four Members present and Mayor Pro-Tern Nygaard absent, and Mayor Lewis announced that Council had heard the information and had instructed staff and the attorneys concerning the matter.
