CALL TO ORDER: MayodPresident Lewis called the Joint Special Meeting to
order at 7:13 p.m.
ROLL CALL: The following Members were present:

Absent: None.
Lewis, Finnila, Kulchin, Hall and Packard.
CONSENT CALENDAR:
ACTION: On a motion by Mayor Pro TemNice President Finnila,
CounciI/Board affirmed the action of the Consent Calendar,
Item #10 as follows:
AYES: - NOES: None.
Lewis, Finnila, Kulchin, Hall and Packard.
WAIVER OF ORDINANCE TEXT READING:
The CounciI/Board waived the reading of the text of all Ordinances and
Resolutions at this Meeting.
1O.AB #17,897 -AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE
PASEO DEL NORTE RECYCLED PIPELINE REPLACEMENT - PROJECT
NOS. 3914 AND 3679.
Council adopted City Council RESOLUTION NO. 2004-373, agreeing to
reimburse the Carlsbad Municipal Water District the actual costs for the
pavement overlay of Paseo Del Norte; and
The Board adopted Municipal Water District RESOLUTION NO. 1230,
accepting bids and awarding the contract to Special Service Contractors,
Inc. for the construction of the Paseo Del Norte Recycled Pipeline
Replacement.
