MEETING OF: CITY OF CARLSBAD PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY
COMMISSION AND CITY COUNCIL
(Joint Special Meeting)
DATE OF MEETING: February 14, 2012
TIME OF MEETING: 4:00 p.m.
PLACE OF MEETING: City Hall Conference Room 3, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive,
Carlsbad
CALL TO ORDER: Chair/Mayor Hall called the Meeting to order at 4:02 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the Deputy City Clerk, as follows:
Present: Hall, Kulchin, Blackburn, Douglas and Packard.
Absent: None.
CLOSED SESSION:
Commission/Council adjourned into Closed Session at 4:05 p.m. pursuant to the following:
1. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.9(a). To hold a closed session to discuss
pending litigation as follows:
Citv of Carlsbad v. Reza Shah. Case No. 08-CV-1211 JLS (WMc)
RECONVENE:
The Commission/Council reconvened at 5:40 p.m. with five members present. Chair/Mayor Hall
announced that the Commission/Council heard the trial court's ruling of February 9, 2012 in the
City's favor.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Joint Special Meeting of February 14, 2012, was adjourned at 5:43 p.m.
