City Attorney Celia Brewer read the Council into Closed Session.
Council adjourned into Closed Session at 2:30 p.m. pursuant to the following:
1. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL REGARDING EXISTING LITIGATION
That the City Council, by motion, authorize a closed session regarding existing litigation in
the matter of:
Ran Enterprises v. City of Carlsbad Case No. 37-2019-00018589-CU-MC-NC, pursuant to
Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(l).
Council Action: The City Council authorized a settlement amount of $32,826.00 to Ran
Enterprises. Motion carried unanimously, 4/0.

By proper motion, the Special Meeting of June 9, 2020 was adjourned at 2:34 p.m.
