SPECIAL MEETING OF: CITY OF CARLSBAD HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT
COMMISSION
(Special Meeting)
DATE OF MEETING: March 27, 2012
TIME OF MEETING: 6:00 p.m.
PLACE OF MEETING: City Council Chambers, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive,
Carlsbad, CA 92008
CALL TO ORDER: Chair Hall called the Meeting to order at 6:48 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the City Clerk as follows:
Present: Commission Members Hall, Kulchin, Blackburn, Douglas and Packard.
Absent: None.
PUBLIC COMMENT: None.
PUBLIC HEARING:
15. AB #435 - CARLSBAD PUBLIC HOUSING AGENCY ANNUAL PLAN FOR FISCAL YEAR
2012-13.
Housing and Neighborhood Services Director Debbie Fountain and Housing Program Manager
Bobbi Nunn gave the staff report and presented the Power Point presentation, on file in the office
of the City Clerk.
Staff responded to questions from Commission Members including how recipients are determined,
who receives priority, finances and funding, and the waiting list.
Chair Hall opened the public hearing at 7:08 p.m.
Seeing no-one wished to speak, Chair Hall closed the public hearing at 7:08 p.m.
ACTION: Commission adopted RESOLUTION NO. 521. approving
the Carlsbad Public Housing Agency Annual Plan; and,
authorizing submission to the U.S. Department of Housing
and Urban Development.
AYES: Hall, Kulchin, Blackburn, Douglas and Packard.
NOES: None.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Special Meeting of March 27, 2012 was adjourned at 7:13 p.m.
