ROLL CALL: Commissioners present were 'Baker, Hayes, PRESENT
Mariz, and Straub. Commissioners absent were Fox, 'ABSENT
Littlefield, and Sanchez
APPROVAL .OF MINUTES: The minutes of the meeting of
March 28, 1978 were approved by acceptance and
agreement of all members present. Mrs. Thelma Hayes
was appointed to serve on the Housing Commission as
of March 8, 1978.
WRITTEN 5 ORAL COMMUNICATIONS:
Item(a): Security Deposit. It was moved to recommend MOTION 2 X
to the Housing Authority to raise the Security Deposit AYES X X
for senior citizens from $40.00 to $60.00 and for NOES
families from $75.00 to $100.00 as of July 1, 1978.
Item (b): Extension of Lease 2625 Davis. It was MOTION
moved to recommend to the Housing Authority to extend AYES
the lease for twelve months for same rent. • NOES
Item (c): Rental Increase, 2502 Jefferson. . MOTION X
It was moved'to recommend to the Housing Authority AYES X X
to renew the lease for one (1) year for $300.00 NOES
with the same terms as per the owner's letter.
Item (d): Letter from San Diego City. It was moved MOTION 2 X
that Mrs. Villalobos write and file an objection. AYES X X

Item (e): Membership. The terms of the Commissioners
was discussed. Names suggested, to be brought to
.Mayor's attention.
Item (f): Letter from DeLong-Donaldson. Regarding MOTION
rental increase for the property at 947 Oak. It was AYES
moved to renew lease for no more than $300.00 per NOES
month.
ADDITIONAL BUSINESS: - • . •
Commissioner Hayes spoke to members about 202-8 program
being implemented in other county. Discussion followed.
ADJOURNMENT:
The meeting adjourned at 6:00p.m.
