ROLL CALL: Commissioners present were Hayes, Roush,
Ma r i z ,amd Fox. Commissioners absent were Sanchez,
and Littlefield. Commissioner Mariz acted as Chair-
man.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
PRESENT
ABSENT
The minutes of June 13 were approved by chair and those
present, as corrected. -----•
Correction: -Minutes of June 13, 1978
(as per note given to Secretary by Commissioner Hayes)
Substitue the word "activities" for "Coordinator's job
description."
The item should read "Future Agenda Item: Commissioner
Hayes would like to have the Social Services activities
discussed at the next meeting."
WRITTEN f, ORAL COMMUNICATIONS:
At this time Commissioner Hayes discussed Proposition
13 and the affect it should have on the Section 23 and
Section 8 rents. A motion was made to suggest to the
Housing Authority that some statement be made to the
leasers (lessors) or owners of property expressing a hope
that the savings resulting from proposition 13 be shared.
Commissioner Hayes also suggested that all Commissioners
be sent a copy of the names, addresses and phone numbers
of all commissioners. Also to include on this list the
term dates of each commissioner.
Commissioner Hayes also stated that she would like to
suggest that all commissioners receive copies of the
Housing Authority minutes.
951 Oak Lease renewal:
At this timeamotion was made to recommend to the Housing
Authority to extend the lease of 951 Oak to September
30, 1978 under the section 23 leased housing program.
ADJOURNMENT:
The meeting adjourned at 5:45p.m.
