President Xagen calPed the meeting to order, Shareholder Kestree regresented Shareholder- Lease of mater Stock - Car1sba.d Hot€ Thacher in the rOatter of Tha&er*s letter of April 7, Thacher to 1954, requesting permission to lease '4.500 shares of stock to the Carlsbad Floteh, this stock at present 6eing appurtenant to his property on Chinquapin Avenue. 13. W. Rogers moved, seconded by C. H. 1nge"ls and carried unanimously: BE IT EESOLVED that the Xanager be and' is hereby 54-4-6 authorized and directed to prepare and- execute necessary papers for the leasing of 4.500 shares of stock owned by E. Thacher and appurtenant to his property on Chinquapin Avenue, tQ the CzrlsbaS: Hotel, subject to advance pa,vment of the necessary transfer fees; PROVIDED, HOEEVER, that the Manages is instruct,ed to first obtain the opin5on of the Company's attorney on the legality of such lease. -1 Shareholder 'Yestree then left the meeting, I Urs. Water The Manager brought up the question of additional water Entitle- ment entitlement per share of stock. After discussion, pi, We Rogers suggested that we should wait until we have more water in the pipes to seU. He axso suggested that any reduction of water rates wait for presentation to the Board later. Refinan- President Hagen reported on the meeting of the Board and cing Mr, Bberhard in Los Angeles with Mr. Harper and &.Houston of the Pacific Nutual. Oae of the questions asked the Directors was whether we had changed from an agricultural to a domestic district. The Pacific Bdutual representatives will be in Carlsbad May 12th to make an estimate on the resources of the plant, etc.
