Also present were b.E.Trygg, Ati;omeys Bay Eberhard. and S'lilliam 3. Dennis, Claud J,Fennel, Zdward G. Kentner, T;'.D.Cannon, Paul Ecke and Attorney Paul S.Swirsky. President Zry opened the meeting. Off ice Director Rogers brought up the matter of office legal size filing cabinet with combination safe in the top. Director bald suggested a fire resistant file to keep records in which would cost around- .:>280 and would. serveas filing cabinet and safe for papers, legal size. The entire group would probably cost arousld $4.00.00. Director Ewald. moved, secon- ded by Director Zahler and carried unanimously: ?That we arioanze to"-bv-y office equipment comprising of fire- resistant Tile cabinet, desk and. chair up to :~)400,00 and author- ize the Secretary and Treasurer to purchase same. President 3ry appointed the same Committee to make arrangements with the Carlsbad Kutua-l T:,Tater Company for the rental of ofTice space and to order telephone installed. Xach should build reservoirs of their own. Attorney Dennis stated that there should be at least a year’s capacity in storage at all times. Attorney Beerhard suggested tha.t someone should take the lead in calling together a rneeting of all new districts and companies that should be interested in creating storage in northern San Diego County and make a study of the subject of reservoirs. Director Rogers stated that he does not agree that a meet ing of a large number of districts should be called because of the danger of offending the ;‘dater Authority. Attorney Dennis feels that the District has some problems to settle before such a neeting _, would be advisable.
