The Board of Directors of the ::arlsbad Municipal &Tat= District met in regular session at 601 ELm Street, farlsbad, San Diego County, California, on Thursday, November 4, 1954, I' The meeting was called to order by President Fry at 7:30 P.M. The Secretary called the roll, and those directors answering present were: Ewald, Fry, Kelly, Rogersjand Zahler. Absent : None,

In response to a question from the Chair, the Treas- urer stated that he had no report to submit at this meeting, but stated that there had been a slight error in the Bill sub- mitted by the San Diego County Water Authority for water sold during the past month, and that a corrected bill had been re- quested.

The Secretary read letters from the San Diego :ounty
Water Authority to the District, one dated October 29, 1954 and one dated November lst, 19%, relative to changes in the price of water during the present fiscal year. The change in price was discussed, and it was the consensus of opinion that the Districtrs representative on 'the Authorityb Board should be instructed, and was instructed, to support the changes in the water rates as suggested by Metropolitan and the Authority, which would be an $8 rate by Metropolitan during the winter months and a $10 rate during the surmer months,
during the year 1954-1955 was discussed, and the Board de- cided that no order should be placed to store water in San Vicente until further study.

The form of contract between the Terramar Water Corqany, the Carlsbad Mutual Water Company and the District was then read and
UPON MOTIOH of Director Rogers, seconded by Director &a18 and unanimously carried by a voice vote, the proper officers of the District were authorized to execute said contract .

UPON MOTION of Director Zahler, seconded by Director Kelly, the meeting was adjourned.
