He said that, C, D, McClellan had been elected permanent chairman; Ed Hagen, secretary-treasurer; B, M. Christiansen, Wm, Cannon and Mrs. Lena Sutton as executive COnxit'cWe McClellan was authorized to appoin subcommittees, collect funds, hire counsel, etc, There was a report on the advice of Ransey who recoaxended that his firm 3, hired ody as consitants; othemrise there migh opposition and he objected to the MutuaJ"s supper$ of the issue. Rainbow- Director Rogers reported on a meeting of the San Diego County Water Secod Barrel- Authority at which the question of the Rainbow Line was diaassede Nr. 'Water rates- Heilbroxl stated that Metropolitan unanimously favors proceeding with Authority & plans for a second barrel %o %n Luis Bey and that they are going to see Metropolitan to it that ue get all the vater we ne&. The line to Rainbow or San Lui there isn't enough water would not be valid. Also, 10,000 acre feet of water can be sold at a.cheapes rate than 2,000 acre feet. Metropolitan could not build the line be- fore two or three years leaving the question of what to do in the meantime. Binbow may go ahead with their &!+If line.
