County Water Authority: I a, - Appli-&tion forms forrequ-esting stored water, On motion of Director Rogers seconded w Director Wld, it was agreed to ask for 3,000 acre feet of water, Direct Rogers reported that Oceanside is now taking water out of storage because they have us more than their entftlement, b, Financial statements as of 6-33-56, 2, Irrigation Districts Association: a. Memorandum to members. b, Notice of postponement of October meeting. 3, BCMWD - proposal for trip to Oroville Dam. On motion of Director Rogers, seconde by Director Kelly it was unanimously agreed that the expenses of any Board member desi ing to make the trip be paid. The Secretary was instructed to notifg the BCMWD of tho intending to go including representatives from the Mutual, City and Terramar, 4, County of Sari Diego -- taxes colleded, &gust, 1956 - $107,82. 5, Security Trust 6~ Savings Bank - re securing of fbnds: Director Rogers mved that securities selected should be approved by O'Nelveny & Myers. The motion was seconded Director &lly and carried unanimously. The Secretary was instructed to notifs the ba to prepare the necessary forms for entering fnto a joint depository agreement with the Trust Department of the C~litbrnia Bank where@ they would hold our bonds subject to a order, 6, First National Bank, Chicago - soliciting appointment as paying agent in Chicago, The Secretcry was instructed to acknowledge the letter and notiQ the First National that they will be given consideration at the appropriate time, 7, Schwakcher & Co. - brockure proposal, $6,950, excluding cost of printing. Fiaance The treasurer reported that the fimce committee had met and recommend inviting proposals fk.om various ffnancial consultants on the handling a a brochure and sale of the bonds, If any of the bids seems reasonable, it whould then be aven consideration. Director E&d moved acceptance of the finance committee's re comenda.t;ians. ",e motion, seconded w Director Rogers, carried unanfmously. 'phe Secretary was instructed to ask also whether any of the financial consultants would be prepwed to guarantee the ?&e of intered they might procure for the District. Director E+rJald asked the attorney if tfiere is any advantage in hiring a consultant wit offices in the East. The attorney said he thought not, Ern The BCMWD dontract had been re-drafted and was presented and read by th Contract Attorney.
