The meeting was called to oder by Chalrman Fry. Preent : Dirgctors: qwald, Fry, Kelly, Rogers
I Director Zahler arrived at 4:10 POX.
T& Chairman outlined the problpgn which is that there are? a number of details which have not been taken care of by the Attomy and the steps which might be
taken to correct the situation,
Director Zahlpr arrived. The Chairman reviewed the points covered and outlined
the alternatives: 1. Get another attorney altogether. 2. Get a local attorney
ad retain Attorney Derais also. 3, Urge Attormy Dennis to increase his staff
and be represat& at all mentingg of this 3oard.
A discussion followed during which the Wes of other attorneys were considered.
It was noted that Attorney Dennis had saved the District a great deal of money at
the tima the District was formed and that his services are very valuable in view
of his contacts throughout the State. It was generally agreed that Attorney Paul Swirsky, if available, or some other attorney should be engaged to handle the de- tail work a& that Attorney Dennis should be kept on a retainer basis.
On motion of Director ?bald, seconded by Director Kelly, it was unanimously agreed that the Chairman should appoint a comnittee of two to talk with Attorney Dennis
and notify him of t& desired change - to kPep him on a retainer or hourly basis and hire anotbr attornay for the detail work.
ChairnsaTl Pry appointed Director Rogers and Blsvald to carry out the task ad requgsttji
that they report back to thP Board.
