M, , MONnAP, DECEM3ER 22, 1958 AT 6Ql ELF! AVZ?Im , CARLSBAD, CALIFGETA The meeting was called to order at l:25 P M. Directors present: Kelly, Ewald, Carnohan, Greek; absent: none Also present were Attorney Swirsky, Yanager Rogers, Executive Secretary Lowrie, and Bill ?arry (San Diego Union reporter) . San Diego County Water Authority, 12-19-58 - Re,uesting information from Secreta re boundary changes. 3. Billy C. Fry family -- Acknowledging gift to Cancer Society on behalf of Bill. New It was announced that 1%" Coe had reconsidered and would be able to Director accept the vacant directorship on the Board. It was announced that Dr. Kark Noy had also agreed to accept if selected for the position. On motion of Director Ewald, seconded by Director Kelly, &. Coe was unanimously elected as Director to fill the unexpired term of Billy C Fry representing Division Investment Due to the fact that the $50,000 on inactive deposit wlth the Securitg First Bank at CarSstad is not immediately needed, the Treasurer's action to extend the investment period on a month-ts-month basis with a 1% per annum I return was approved on motion of Director Xwald, seconded by Director Camohan, with the Treasurer being authorized to sign the agreement therefor. On motion of Director Ewald, seconded by Director Greek, the Yanager was authorized i cnt offke hours on December 26th to whatever is absolutely necessaq to maintain the interests of the District. &tension The Iknager reported that easements at Ponto had been signed and that Unit t'C" @ans include arranging fittings so connections can be made when the time comes and also prepare for connections at the County Park where a standby charge of $3 .OO for every two trailers iqould result. On motion of Director Ewzld, seconded by Director Greek, it was agreed that the Attorney should notify the Contractors that this District intends to take joint action in order to settle this matter. Capron- The Attorney reported that YE. Capron had been in this mming but that Zecker no agreement had resulted, The Attorney stated that it seems best to go ahead and serm him. Mr. Hecker, be said, had not yet been in but that Mr. Hecker’s Attorney had advised him to sign ~nd it will probably be just a question of time .until he does.
