MINUTES OF AN ADJOURNED REGULBR MEETING OF BOARD OF PIRECTORS OF THE CBRLSBAD “NIXIE?€& “kJXR DISTRICT HELD DECEMBER 27, 1960 AT 2:OO P.M. AT 2698 .Sdp STReET, CARISBAD, (2iI,Il
president Kelly called the meeting ,to order with Directors Carnohan, Coe, Greek and Mael
answering roll call. Attorney Swirsky, Engineer Clayton, Bert-Winfor, Photographer fro1
the San Diego Union, and office secretary were also present.
The President then announced that the notice of adjournment of the regular meeting -of
December 20, 1960 to this date, as required by Section 54955, Government Code, State of
California had been duly posted and the affadavit of said posting was to be made a part
the records of the District.
This being the time and place fixed for the canvass of the returns of the Special elect:
held on December 20, 1960, the returns of said election (and the absentee votes cast as
said election) were duly and regularly canvassed as provided by law.
It was moved by Director Maerkle, seconded by Director Carnohan, that the following resc
tion #124 declaring the result of said canvass be adopted, and that said resolution,
together with a Secretary’s statement, be set forth in full on the minutes:
AYES: DIRECTORS RELLY, CARNOFIAN, COE, GRJBK, MAERKLE
WOES : DIRECTORS, NONE
ABSENT: DIRECTORS, NONE
Improvement The engineer advised the board he thought bids on phases A, By and C on
of the Board of Directors at 2:OO P.M. on February 7, 1961.
After discussion, upon motion of Director Maerkle, seconded by.Director Carnohan, and
unanimously cgrried, it was moved that bids on phases A, B, & C be called for at 2:OO
P .M. , February 7, 1961.
‘District #3 Improyement District No. 3 should be called for bid at the regular meeting
