Fresident Haerkle called the meting to order a% 2:O5 P.M., with Erectors Coe,
Kelly, Phillips and Cm5chael answering roll call. Also present were General
?.llanager Vood, Legal Counsel Grossef and Office Secretary.
Approval Upon motion of Director Phillips, seconded by Director Carnichael,
Of ?Enirtes and unanimously carried, it was moved that the rninutes of the regular I meeting of Piu,gust 17, 1965, be approved as mailed out by the Secretary.

Lido Land Legal Counsel reported that after the last meeting he had discussed
Action the Batter of t%e easement with oEe of the Attorneys and he indicated
to them. The matter will now be taken v-p with the otner Attorney on the case, and
with his approval, the deed can be drawn,
Water Ordinznce Legal Counsel reported that the Committee had met azd gone over Revis ion the necessary revisions on t'ne Vater Ordinance and Resolu-tion
which will be ready for redew at Vie next meeting,
La Costa "he Emager infomed the Board that he had expected to have a formal

Nance has had a fairly broad experience with waterworks and he had talked to Ern

be increased to ";O.OO at the first of the yeas. After discussion, upon motion
of Uirector Carmichael, seconded by Erector Phillips, and. unaninously carried, it
was moved that the District hire this man for the posit5on of Laborer at the
recormended salary,

wording in order to give a more positive appoach and to specify a defivite mount
for the override to be charged for service to that area. Using the District's

the override, it was decided Vcat tlne overrrde would be set at $3.00 per acre
foot covering delivery of water approximately 9 miles into Xorth Garlsbad. After
further discussion, the Board agreed that the letter should be retyped incorporatiq th.e chmges noted and mailed to %yor Atkinson.

City' of Carlsbad aEd 3ater Xngineer Bob Johnson were 0u.t to the office before
the meeting regarding the City of CmlsSad serving water to the
industrial mea just to the north of the District office, They were advised of the
Dtstrict's Ordinance concerning wholesale water comections sad, after discussing
the matter in full, th.ey seemed to understand the District's position. They indi-
cated, however, that there is a possibilitr that ultimate development of this
industrial tract may be sufficient to qualify for 8 wholesale connection under
the District Is Ordinance.
Vorld Farm President Kaerkle reviewed correspondence fro= $fro Richard A. Smith Center of tbe Fallbrook fiblic Vtility District concerning the establishment
water project displays 2nd exhibits.
Anrtual hdit Director Coe reported Ynstt he has checked with ?eat, Naxwick, Nitchell!
196556 and Company regm5ing auditing services for this fdscal year and
they wou.ld like to allow a 10% leexzay because of the possi'lility of more detail in
connection. with the La Costa BT:.eloper&. AfteT discussion, upon motion of Director
Coe, second-ed by 3irecto.E. Selly, and tmanimous3-y carried, it was moved that the District award t%e amual au-dit to Peat, Marwick, Kitchell and Company for $l,@O .OD for the coming fiscal year.
Copies of the audit report for the fiscal year L%&65 were presented to Board menibers for their revlew and discussion Et the next regular meeting.
