Legal Counsel announced Y?at a3-1 proceedings agd acts required have been performed
and khe anrexations of these parcels have been completed and the formal notice will

Release of The Yknager reported that an inquiry has been received from the
Right of Way i.iilliam Po Ramon 2ealty Company regarding res.0va.l of an easement
the matter it 1m.s found that t5is easexllent was obtained from Stewart Greisen and
Alice Marie CreZsen in 1956 for the line to San ?%rcos but when the line went
northerly th.ru. Section 4, t26.s line thru Section. 9 was totally abandoned 2nd the
easement never used. It v?s also detem-_ined that the District paid a cash mount
of $256.00, plus notary, escrow ar,d filing fees for this eEseme-nt and it was the
&mager1s recovmendation that the Distrlct agree to release this right of way for
a cash settlement of $350.00, After discwsion, qon motion of Director Kelly,
seconded by Director Cmmic'riael, md unzrAmously carried, it was moved that the
District release this easemeEt on tle Greisen property for a cash settlenent of $350 .OO .
Operation and Kaintensnce :
The Yanager reported there !?.as been several acts of vandalism at the District's
ItBTr tan.!< involving enterin.g the stat.io3, prying open the controls m-d activatir_g
of t!?e controls. The handling of the automatic controls resulted in a water loss
on a parcel of land near Escondido. He explained that in resezrching

from spillage of the tar& of ab0u.t 2 acre feet. The repairs h2ve been made and Vce
field. staff are keepfag a close check on this facility to avoid any fwther problems at this &rea.
Personnel The 1 rans.ger informed the Board that the new employee , Raymond Nance,
have been made for him to E7aEdI.e all o-f the u-tilities with the exception of the
Gas av-d Electric Company billing vhich cannot be transferred to his narne becawe
of the line extension Agreexent wit? the District, so these charges will be billed
to him by the DistTict,
Yater Service The Bozrd discussed briefly the recent publicity on the water
Xorth Cztrlsba-d service situation in North Carlsbad, Are a,
Paerican Xater The Phnager annomced the fall convention of the Pmerican ‘fater
Vorks Conventiorr !<forks Association is schedule6 to be held in Sa= Francisco from
wodd like to attend this event. Additional informatioz will be available at the
next Zeeting on tkis convention.
Annual /m.C?it 9irector Coe inforxed the Board that the annual audit report has
as presented. After discmsion, upon motion of Director Coe, seconded by Director
?5illS.psY ad una.nimously carried, it was zoved that the Board. accept the audit
report submitted by the firm of Peat, T;Ten;rick, l%tch.ell md Company for the fiscal
yea2 ending June 30 , 1%5*
Ratification Epon motion of Director Coe, seconded by Director Phillips, and
of Checks unanimously carried, the Board fatified Checks No. I118 thm
and his family have moved into the trailer at Squires Darn. J.mangements
