The meeting was called to order at 2:03 P.FE. by President kerkle with Directors
Coe, Carnichael and Fhillips arrswering roll call, Director Kelly arrived 2t 2:W

La Costa. The Nanager infomed the Board that t'ne letter from La Costa Develop-
Development ment acceptjng the responsi'otlity for maintenance and v.p-kee9 for the
line comecting Alga 2oad to the Bressi Ranch Llpe Extension has been
received by t?>e District.

There was considerable discussion on the meter5n.g progra??? for the La Costa Uevelcp-
ment and the Fanager infomed the Soard that the mete-rs for the houses in rJnit $1 will be ipstalled right way, Ye explained that there has been considerable delay
but that the EIistrict should have the necesscry documents to take over this water
system for accerstance at the text meeting.

original proposal of the three two-inch meters on La Gosta kit No. 1. only.
The attorr?ey was in.stru.cted to redraft th.e rate ordinance to increase the ready-to-
serve cFarges $5.00 for eac'r! additaonal inch in size.
Eoyle Lngineering The 8%.nager presented for approval an invoice in the aTount of
Invoice Payment 3320.00 fro3 BoyLe &@-neering covering tke tine spent on

It was his recornendation that the District rAce an official request to the Ecor.nty for cancelletion of these taxes since the mgexation proceedings were
underway at the tixe t3.e zssessEents were made. The Manager was avthorized to x&e
this request on behalf o? the District.
Persomel Director Phillig offered a motion that John HeKLey be made Acting
Superintendent, wit3. no increase in pay, in order to eliminate any
conf~~siolz in the field as far as au2:ority is coxlcerned. The ?&ma,er saggested
th.& S,he Fersonnel Godttee, inchding the Xanager, get together and discuss this
mtter. Director ?hillips withdrew the motio3, Fresident Haerkle then appointed
Erector Cmwichzel to work wit'ii. the Iknager on this mtter znd report back to the
Board.
Ratification TJpon motion of Erector Coe, seconded by Director Kelly, md
