The attorr?ey was in.stru.cted to redraft th.e rate ordinance to increase the ready-to- serve cFarges $5.00 for eac'r! additaonal inch in size. Taxes for %-e lknager informed the Soard that t2e bills for the current taxes I. "3 pemonnel eva-luation. Upon motion of Director Phillips, seconded 1?65-66 on the Smta Ye and Scpfres Dam sites have been recei.ved by tkie District. It was his recornendation that the District rAce an official request to the Ecor.nty for cancelletion of these taxes since the mgexation proceedings were underway at the tixe t3.e zssessEents were made. The Manager was avthorized to x&e this request on behalf o? the District. Persomel Director Phillig offered a motion that John HeKLey be made Acting Superintendent, wit3. no increase in pay, in order to eliminate any conf~~siolz in the field as far as au2:ority is coxlcerned. The ?&ma,er saggested th.& S,he Fersonnel Godttee, inchding the Xanager, get together and discuss this mtter. Director ?hillips withdrew the motio3, Fresident Haerkle then appointed Erector Cmwichzel to work wit'ii. the Iknager on this mtter znd report back to the Board. Ratification TJpon motion of Erector Coe, seconded by Director Kelly, md of Checks umnimously carried, t:"e Board ratified Checks 80. 1164 thru No. I UU+, in the arnol.znt of 829,403.95.
