The meeting was called to order at 8:05 A.M. by President MacLeod, with Director: Engelmann, Maerkl e, MacLeod and Uhl inger answering roll call. Director Kelly arl at 8:11 A.M. Also present were Assistant General Manager Henley, Legal Counsel
Swirsky, District Engineer Kubota, Public Relations Consultant Mitchell and Offic
Secretary. Utilities and Maintenance Director Roger Greer of the City of Carlsb; was also present.

8:OO A.M., was posted on June 23, 1977, within 24 hours after the adjournment of last adjourned meeting and this notice is to be placed in the official records.

the Board authorized payment to Skip Schmidt & Associates the sum of $2,388.50, 1
work performed in June 1977.
Director Kelly arrived at this point.

DIRECTORS OF CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 361 ,I' ar upon motion of Director Waerkle, seconded by Director Engelmann, this resolution adopted by the following vote:
AYES : Directors: Engelmann, Kelly, MacLeod, Maerkle and Uhl inger

Adoption of Notice Legal Counsel Swirsky advised the Board of Negative Declaration based upon the initial study by Westec S
vices, Inc. , which determined that the p
posed water rate increase would have no significant affect on the environment, th
now can, technical ly and formally, adopt the "Notice of Negative Declaration." I:
ector Maerkle made the motion to adopt the Notice of Negative Declaration, second by Director Engelmann and unanimously carried.
Public Inquiries Director Maerkle made a motion that any of the public who desires information fr the pub1 ic records , shall submit a written request to the Manager, who shall cons the request before releasing data, seconded by Director Uhlinger and unanimously carried.
Adjournment The meeting was adjourned at 8:24 A.M.
