The meetina was call ed to order at 8:04 A.M. by President MacLeod, with Director Engelmann, Maerkle , MacLeod, Kel ly and Uhl inger answering roll call e A1 so prese were Assistant General Manager Henley, Legal Counsel Swirsky, District Engineer Kubota and Office Secretary. Utilities and Maintenance Director Roger Greet of the City of Carlsbad was also present.
Notice of Adjournment Legal Counsel Swirsky stated that a Notic of Adjournment from July 6, 1977, to toda at 8:OO A.M., was posted on July 6, 1977, within 24 hours after the adjournment of the last regular meeting and this notice is to be placed in the official recc

DIRECTORS OF CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL MATER DISTRICT ADOPTING CLASSIFICATION AND SALA
SCHEDULE FOR EMPLOYEES FOR THE 1977-78 FISCAL YEAR," as prepared from the recom
dations of the Personnel Committee, to be effective as of July 1, 1977, and, up
motion of Director Maerkle, seconded by Director Kelly, this resolution was ado
by the foll owing vote:

Insurance Manager 'ttenley informed the Board that F has notified the District to find other
surance coverage as soon as possible because they can no longer insure Squires and therefore want to withdraw all their coverage. They will give us interim ( erage on Squires until we can find other insurance and have renewed coverage or
everything else for another year (until July of next year), Mr. Henley has chc with three other 1 oca1 agencies who are to submit proposals. Discussion fol lob and various agencies were suggested although the opinion seemed to be that insr companies no longer insure dams. Engineer Kubota suggested staff would discus: further at their meeting later today.
Water Authority Director Kelly reported on this meeting which Dave Kennedy, prime contender for
general managership of the Pletropoli tan, spoke knowledgeably on the delta situ; Senate Bill 346 and the peripheral canal. A brief discussion followed.
Pal omar Estates Mobi 1 ehome Park Engineer Kubota reported the driveway hi staked, they will review it in a field i later today, and this development is finally moving alonu.
