MEETING OF: CITY OF CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
(Special Meeting)
DATE OF MEETING: February 8, 2011
TIME OF MEETING: 3:30 p.m.
PLACE OF MEETING: City Hall Conference Room 3, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive,
Carlsbad
CALL TO ORDER: President Hall called the Meeting to order at 3:30 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the Deputy Secretary, as follows:
Present: Board Members Hall, Kulchin, Blackburn, Douglas and Packard.
Absent: None.
CLOSED SESSION:
1. GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54956.9(c). Conference with Legal Counsel Regarding
Initiating Litigation.
The Board of Directors, by motion, authorize a closed session to consider initiation of
litigation of one case.
The Board reconvened at 5:22 p.m. with five members present. President Hall announced that
the Board heard the matter and that no further action is required at this time.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Special Meeting of February 8, 2011, was adjourned at 5:24 p.m.
