SPECIAL MEETING OF: CITY OF CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT

DATE OF MEETING: October 23, 2012
TIME OF MEETING: 6:00 p.m.
PLACE OF MEETING: City Council Chambers, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive,
Carlsbad, CA 92008
CALL TO ORDER: President Hall called the Meeting to order at 7:23 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the Secretary as follows:
Present: Board Members Hall, Kulchin, Blackburn, Douglas and Packard.
Absent: None.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
On a motion by Vice President Kulchin, the minutes of the following meetings were unanimously
approved as presented:
Minutes ofthe Special Meeting held July 24, 2012.
Minutes ofthe Special Meeting held September 25, 2012.
Minutes of the Joint Special Meeting held September 25, 2012.
Minutes ofthe Joint Special Meeting held October 2, 2012.
CONSENT CALENDAR:
ACTION: On a motion by Vice President Kulchin, the Board affirmed the action of
the Consent Calendar, Item #6 as follows:
AYES: Hall, Kulchin, Blackburn, Douglas and Packard.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
WAIVER OF ORDINANCE TEXT READING:
The Board waived the reading of the text of all Resolutions at this Meeting.
6. AB #757 - ADVERTISE FOR BIDS - PROJECT NO. 5024.
Board adopted RESOLUTION NO. 1488. authorizing the District Secretary to advertise
for bids for the construction of Ellery, Elm and Skyline interior and exterior coating and
structural repairs, Project No. 5024.

By proper motion, the Special Meeting of October 23, 2012 was adjourned at 7:24 p.m.
