SPECIAL MEETING OF: CITY OF CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
(Special Meeting)
DATE OF MEETING: November 6, 2012
TIME OF MEETING: 6:00 p.m.
PLACE OF MEETING: City Council Chambers, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive,
Carlsbad, California
CALL TO ORDER: President Hall called the Meeting to order at 7:49 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the Assistant Secretary as follows:
Present: Board Members Hall, Kulchin, Blackburn, Douglas and Packard.
Absent: None.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
On a motion by Vice President Kulchin, the minutes ofthe following meetings were unanimously
approved as presented:

CONSENT CALENDAR:
ACTION: On a motion by Vice President Kulchin, the Board affirmed the action of
the Consent Calendar, Item Nos. 15 and 16 as follows:
AYES: Hall, Kulchin, Blackburn, Douglas and Packard.
NOES: None.
WAIVER OF ORDINANCE TEXT READING:
The Board waived the reading of the text of all Resolutions at this Meeting.
15. AB #758 - APPROVE AGREEMENT - PROJECT NO. 5001.
Board adopted RESOLUTION NO. 1451 approving an agreement with Atkins North
America, Inc. forthe Maerkle Reservoir Transmission Main Pipeline - Cantarini to
Maerkle Dam, Project 5001.
16. AB #759 - QUITCLAIM OF PORTION OF WATERLINE EASEMENT - PR 12-32.
Board adopted RESOLUTION NO. 1452. quitclaiming of a portion of water line
easement lying within Lot 8 of Map No. 13434, generally located at the southwest corner
of Poinsettia Lane and Ambrosia Lane, on the site ofthe Daybreak Community Church
and Daycare Facility.
