PLACE OF MEETING: City Council Chambers, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive, Carlsbad, CA 92008
CALL TO ORDER:
President Hall called the Meeting to order at 7:17 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the Secretary as follows:
Present: Board Members Hall, Packard, Wood, Blackburn, Douglas.
Absent: None.
PUBUC COMMENT: None.
PUBUC HEARING:
13. AB #774 - REPORT ON PUBUC DRINKING WATER GOALS.
Assistant Utilities Director Wendy Chambers gave the staff report and PowerPoint presentation (on file in the
office ofthe City Clerk).
President Hall opened the duly noticed public hearing at 7:20 p.m.
Seeing that no-one wished to speak, President Hall closed the public hearing at 7:20 p.m.
ACTION: On a motion by Board Member Packard, Board adopted
RESOLUTION NO. 1479. approving the Carlsbad Municipal Water District
Public Drinking Water Goals Report comparing drinking and source water
quality with Public Health Goals adopted by California EPA's Office of
Environmental Health Hazard Assessment.
AYES: Hall, Packard, Wood, Blackburn and Douglas.
NOES: None.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Special Meeting of September 10, 2013 was adjourned at 7:21 p.m.
