SPECIAL MEETING OF: CITY OF CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT BOARD
(Special Meeting)
DATE OF MEETING: January 28,2014
TIME OF MEETING: 6:00 p.m.
PLACE OF MEETING: City Council Chamber, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive, Carlsbad, CA 92008
CALL TO ORDER: President Hall called the Meeting to order at 6:56 p,m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the Secretary as follows:
Present: Board Members Hall, Packard, Wood, Blackburn and Douglas.
Absent: None.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Board Member Douglas stated she would abstain from voting on the minutes due to her absence from the
meeting.
On a motion by Vice President Packard, the Minutes ofthe following meeting were approved as presented.
Minutes ofthe Joint Special Meeting held January 14, 2014.
CONSENT CALENDAR:
ACTION: On a motion by Vice President Packard, the Board affirmed the action of the
Consent Calendar, Item #13 as follows:
AYES: Hall, Packard, Wood, Blackburn and Douglas.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
WAIVER OF ORDINANCE TEXT READING:
The Board waived the reading ofthe text of all Resolutions at this Meeting.
13. AB #777 - NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE SANTA FE II RESERVOIR
DRAINAGE AND CRIBWALL IMPROVEMENTS. PROJECT NO. 50311.
The Board adopted RESOLUTION NO. 1488, accepting the construction of the Santa Fe II
Reservoir Drainage and Cribwall Improvements, Project No. 50311, as complete; and,
directing the Secretary to record a Notice of Completion and release bonds in
accordance with State law and city ordinances.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Special Meeting of January 28, 2014 was adjourned at 7:01 p.m.
