Board/Council adjourned into Closed Session at 9:02 a.m. pursuant to the following:
1. CONSIDER PENDING LITIGATION:

City of Carlsbad and CMWD v. Pacific Indemnity Company, 21^ Century Preferred
Insurance Co., jefferson Insurance Co., Stonewall Insurance Co., The Dominion of
Canada General Insurance Co., First State Insurance Co., Twin City Fire Insurance
Co., Specialty National Insurance Co., and Great Lakes Reinsurance (UK).

RECONVENE:
The Board/Council reconvened at 9:34 a.m. with five members present.
President/Mayor Hall announced that there was no reportable action taken.
