Motion by Vice President Blackburn, seconded by Board Member Wood to approve minutes,
motion carried unanimously.

PRESENTATIONS: None.
PUBLIC REPORT OF ANY ACTION TAKEN IN CLOSED SESSION: None.
CONSENT CALENDAR:
Motion by Vice President Blackburn, seconded by Board Member Wood to approve item 14.
Motion carried unanimously.
WAIVER OF ORDINANCE TEXT READING:
This is a motion to waive the readingof the text of all ordinances and resolutions at this meeting.
14. AB #814 - Approval of Resolution No. 2015-255, of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, setting a Public Hearing regarding a new wastewater rate structure and proposed
increases in wastewater rates; and approval of Resolution No. 1531, ofthe Board of Directors
of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District (CMWD), California setting a Public Hearing
regarding proposed increases in water rates.
Interim City Manager Dodson introduced the item as well as Senior Accountant, Aaron
Beanan, and Utility Director Wendy Chambers who provided a PowerPoint presentation.

ACTION: Motion by Mayor Pro Tem Blackburn, seconded by Council Member Wood. Motion
carried unanimously to adopt Resolution Nos. 2015-255 and 1531.
