Minutes of the Joint Special Meeting held January 24, 2017.
Motion by Vice President K.Blackburn, seconded by Board Member M. Schumacher, to approve
the minutes as presented. Motion carried, 5/0.
CONSENT CALENDAR:
ACTION: Motion by Vice President K.Blackburn, seconded by Board Member M. Schumacher, to
approve Consent Calendar Item Nos.9 and 10. Motion carried unanimously, 5/0.
9.AGREEMENT WITH BADGER METER,INC.DBA NATIONAL METER &AUTOMATION FOR
PURCHASE OF DOMESTIC SERVICE COLD WATER METERS —Adoption of Resolution No. 1564
authorizing execution of a Professional Services Agreement with Badger Meter,Inc.dba
National Meter & Automation for purchase of domestic service cold water meters in an
amount not to exceed $301,000 annually .(Staff contact:Mario Remillard, Public Works)
10. ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE LA COSTA WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT (PROJECT NO. 5035)—
Adoption of Resolution No.1565 approving plans and specifications and authorizing the
Secretary to the Board to advertise and receive bids for the La Costa Water Main
Replacement, Project No. 5035. (Staff contact:Lindsey Stephenson, Public Works)
