March 22, 1955
The meeting was called to order at 7:35 P. -- in the Police
Office of the City Hall by Chairman Felt. Other Commissioners present
were Nielsen, Stuart, McClellan, and VJestree.
Plans for Holiday Park were discussed with representatives
of the Carlsbad ./omans' Club. After considerable discussion, it was
moved by Comm. McClellan that with the- understanding that final author-
ity rests with the City Council, that the PBR&T Commission give tena-
tive approval to the exchange of Parcel "Crf for Parcel "3" (as indicated
on map enclosed as part of the record) now owned by the Carlsbad Y/omans'
Club; that a lease to the City for Parcel "A" for public parking be
provided; that necessary easements across City Park; Property for util-
ities be granted. The motion was seconded by Comm. Westree, and the ^
motion carried.
The minutes of the February 21st 1955 meeting were read and
approved.
$Mrs. Felt submitted her resignation.Chairman of the PBR&T Com-K
mission. Comm. Y/estree moved that the resignation of Mrs. Felt as Chair-
man be accepted with regret. Motion seconded by Comm. McClellan, and
the motion carried. Mrs. Stuart suggested that a vote of thanks and
appreciation be extended to Mrs. Felt for her service to the City of
Carlsbad and the Commission.
The motion was made by Comm. McClellan that Comm. Westree be
elected Chairman to succeed Mrs. Felt; seconded by Comm. Stuart. Motion
carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:4-0 ?. K.
