IKGRSaTIGr: "'BACH & TR3B COMMISSION Larch 23. 1953 The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P. M. in the Police Chief's office of the City Ha 1.1 by the new Chairman, Nelson Westree. This meeting proceeded a joint meeting with the Planning Commission & the Harbor Commission. Present besides Chairman Westree were Commission- ers Felt, Nielsen, Stuart,Glines and Christiansen. l.lrs. Stuart expressed her opposition to the unanimous decision of the Commission to recommend the removal of the trees on Elm Street end the recommendation that the property owned by Kr. Paul Ecke, lying imme- diately south of Terramar, be included in the plan for future state and City park area. Those present, except lirs. Stuart, voted to abide by the previous decision. At the joint meeting with the Manning and Harbor Commissions, the members again voted on the Zast boundary of the cove area lying east of the Freeway. It was moved by Comm. Christiansen, seconded by Dr. G^ines that this boundary be Hoover Street. The Planning Commission over- ruled this decision and extended the boundary farther east. It was moved by Comm. Felt and seconded by Comm. Nielsen that future meeting dates return to the first and third Thursday of the month. I.'lotion carried. The meeting was adjourned at 9:40 P. Iv;.
