Boy Scout Troop 748
4340 Highland Drive
Carlsbad, California 92008
September 13,
The Mayor and The City Council
City of Carlsbad
Carlsbad, California 92008
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen:
For many years, Troop 748 has held its weekly
Tuesday night Scout Meetings in the Scout House at Holiday
Park. At various times over these yesrs, we have undertaken
a rejuvenation of the Scout House; the most recent being the
re-roofing.
Now the latest effort done under the direction of
Lynn Chase has really made the Scout House a most welcome
place to hold our Scout meetings. The task directed by her
is one which we appreciate very much. We ask that you convey
to her our sincere thanks for a job done very well.
We also wish to point out to you that in January 1983
this Troop will commence its 25th consecutive year here in
Carlsbad. Thus Lynn Chase's efforts should certainly make this
a year to remember.
