CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Heineman called the Regular Meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.

Absent: Commissioner Pieratt

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
ACTION: On motion by Commissioner Holmes, the Minutes of the
Regular Meeting held November 21, 1994, were approved as
written.

Holmes, Pieratt, and Schulberg

ABSTAIN: None

APPROVAL OF AGENDA
ACTION: On motion by Commissioner Ward, the Agenda for
December 19, 1994 was approved as printed.

CONSENT CALENDAR

To accept and file the Director's Report for November 1994.
2. AB #1294-2 SUMMARY REPORT
To approve, accept, and file the Summary Report of the November 1994
Parks and Recreation Commission Meeting.
ACTION: On motion by Chairman Heineman, Items AB #1294-1 and
AB #1294-2 of the Consent Calendar for December 19, 1994
were approved.

DEPARTMENTAL REPORTS
3. AB #1294-3 ANNUAL PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION ELECTION
(CHAIRPERSON/VICEPERSON)
The Commission voted on the election of Parks and Recreation Commissioner
officers by secret ballot, counted and witnessed by Ruth Stark and Dave
Bradstreet. The results were:
Chairman - Commissioner Heineman
Vice Chairman - Commissioner Cox
4. AB #1294-4 PARK DEVELOPMENT UPDATE
Dave Bradstreet, Director, Community Services Department, updated the
Commission on the development of Poinsettia Community Park, Aviara Oaks
activity playfields and the Hosp Grove passive area.
ACTION: On motion by Commissioner Holmes, AB #1294-4, was
accepted and filed.
AYES: Chairman Heineman, Commissioners Cox, Baker, Ward,
Holmes, Pieratt, and Schulberg
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT: None
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Commissioner Schulberg discussed his presentation to the City Council regarding
the Agua Hedionda Lagoon.
