1. SR# 1019-1 PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION WORK PLAN
Chief Innovation Officer David Graham continued to work with Commissioners
facilitating the work plan process for the Fiscal Year 2019-20'.
2. SR# 1019-2 DEPARTMENT REPORT
Special Projects Manager Mick Calarco and Parks & Recreation Director Kyle Lancaster
reported on recently completed, ongoing and upcoming Parks & Recreation Department
programs, events, and park projects.

On motion by Commissioner Thorp second by Vice Chair Martinez, the
meeting was adjourned at 6:35 p.m. The next meeting of the Parks &
Recreation Commission will be November 18, 2019, Council Chambers

Goal 1 – Advise City staff and City Council on projects and programs
• Focus on progress and impact
Goal 2 – Enhance accessibility, visibility and engagement
• Ensure a quorum at all Commission meetings
• Conduct site visits to parks, facilities and programs
• Attend at least two Parks & Recreation events
Goal 3 – Broaden outreach and education
• Connect with other relevant agencies and organizations
