Colonel Gronseth moved that a recomendatlon be maGe to the City Council to grant the request of the above described application, Seconded by L’fr, Bond, All ayes. Colonel Smith moved a hearing be set on Wovember 2.$, 1952 at 7;OO p.m. on the applicat?-on of Altm A. E *llaFguet V. Dailey and Josephine No Dailey for E? zonf: change from E-2 to R-1 on property described as: Portion of Tract 4-0 of Thum Lands and the large area located between t?ae freeway and 150 feet Bast of Zighlmd as recoxmended by the Planning Conmission limiting frontage to 75 feet remain as originally recom.zendad. City Council may if it deems necessary change the designation to R-I-A or s-hilar designation to separate it from the present R-1. Change does not prescribe any definite frontage. Seconded by Col. City Attorney Bruce Smith stzted that the only reconmendations the E'lanning Cormission -e alloned to make on the tentative map are the -2- A follawing: (1) Location of streets (2) Width of streets (3 ) wainage Colonel Smith moved that a recomaendation be Made to the City Co-mcil that the tentative subdivision map submitted by XI, 19r. All ayes, Notion carried. *'Secretary Smith reard a memorandum from the City counc5-1 regmding the interpretation of Ordinace 8036 regax-ding minimum floor area reqxlirements and asking that the Planntng Commission give special con- sideration to attached prqps, attached apaptzlents and west houses. Secretmy Smith read a letter from Willis E, Niller, Director of Planning of the San Diego County Planning Depcv-l;r5ent inforxing us ka-t the fir:t aeeting of the Sa Diego County Planning Congrcss will be held on Thursday, Xovember 20, 1952 at 6:45 p.m. in the Rivera Zoom of the Grant Hotel in San diego. Topic at the meeting will be '*A Master Plan for Sewage Disposal," It t7as snegested that this letter be turned over to the CItg Clerk so that he may contact the Sanitmy Bomd Chafrman asking them if they vish to attend this meet5.ng.
