Col, Smith moved that the request of Cyril Fouts of 4090 C-arf'lelri Street for reduction of lot area be set for hearing at 7:OO p. m, on January 26, 1953, at the city Hall, Seconded by Col, Gronseth. ILr. 30nd reported that he ha? inspected a cypress tree at 3117 Garfield, from which n large limb extended out over a dwelling and also Over power lines. The matter wag referred. to ILr . Barter to fin.d out whether the power company will remove the limb. b?. Bond- stated that; the occupant of the house was ?villing to remove the liab, but it was the consensus of opinion that damage to power lines and possible dal.ger might result if the trimr?ing were attempted by an in- experienced person. Barter was yeminded to try to get in tonch with the iTealth Departnent in connection with the health hazard matter discussed at tkB meeting of December 22nd., 1952, and to have a report at tke next meeting on January 26th.
