The applicatjon of &arl V. Callander of 2869 Knowles Street for
variance from 15 to 78 feet in side yard setback on property at the
above address, wag reviewed and further discussed. Comm. Sutton moved
that a hearing be set on the application on July 13, 1953, at 7:30 p. m,
Seconded by Corn. Baumgartner. A11 qyes, motion carried.
Application of Gallinger Corporation for reclassification from E-2
to R-1 of a portion of Tract 256, Thum Lands, and a portion of Lot J,
Rancho Agua Hedionda, was read and discussed. Corn. Stringer moved
that a hearing be set on the Gallinger application for reclassification
on July 27, 1953, at 8:OO or clock. Seconded by Corn. Cockrill. All
ayes, motion carried.
It was suggested by Mr. Ewald that applications for variance ad
rezoning be numbered, and Comm. Sutton proposeit that a system of number-
ing which would include the year and month, be used. The matter was
discussed by the Commission but no action taken.
There being no further business to come before the Commission, the
meeting was declared ad jomned, at 9:30 p. m.
