I I I I 1 I 1 I !Chairman Sutherland announced that this meeting i :was for the purpose of scheduling puJ3lic hearings ! ion the Master Plan of the City. !Kenneth Norwood, Project Planner of Daniel, Mann,; i Johnson and Mendetddl, stated that two (2) publici :hearings would be required before the Planning I !Commission to cover the basic ground work and one: i (1) public hearing would Be held before the !Council. The first hearing would cover all of the land use types, location, and standards, and !would touch briefly on the other elements of the : 'plan for the harbor. :The second meeting would bring discussion of the i !land use plan and they would go into more speci- i i fic details such as public improvements. The ! thought of the meeting is to review certain as- pects and they would supply the Commission by i ! letter of their recommendations for the meeting : I and the date. i When they have the presentation of the plan, they: :will not go into past records of population and !data, There was the possibility that in the courke i of the presentation, they may not be able to I answer all of the questions and may have to have i i three meetings to answer all of the questions. :The Commission felt that there should be a more :specific layout of streets and that they should i have another study session with representatives i i of DMJM. :It was agreed that the Commission would meet on ! :Thursday, August 20, 1964, at 7:30 PoPijlo, in the ! :Council Chambers for a study session to review : and conclude anything that has been left hanging. : The public hearings would cover the €allowing: i First Meetinq i obi ectives Public Facilities ! : Land Use Plan -.
