It is poorly written. Freeway Service to list of secondary commercial areas. (See Pg. 41). t should be summarized so you do not have tu jump around. Add re- Pa e 37 - The Carlsbad Central Business District was discussed and t was fell into a sood com- munity shopping center. A paragraph on increased pedestrian use should be added. (Review downtown with DMJM). e Page 38 - Does not correlate with latest discussion with Paul Neal in which Grand Ave. will be main shopping street with circulation around it. Beech Street opening not mentioned. Rewrite 4a & b to emphasize Grand Ave. and how well Mall could be developed. (This should be discussed with DMJM). Provide some connection (pedest- rian) to beach and uses along beach. Get people to use the whole commercial/resort/beach complex. See Page 3, Paragraph 2 of Com- mittee Report on Commercial & INdustrial-Good, possibly include. Page 39 - Delete sentence "Professional Administrative District.''
