The City Attorney reported that on the suggested rules and transaction of business he had presentep, he had deleted parts of the agenda which were : :ii:i: routine matters for the Secretary to follow end ;:::I, I*; did not relate to how the Planning Commission I I ;::::; would conduct their meeting$. He tried to delete: b1'I;l some items that are covered according to State : 'I:;*; laws. He pointed out that the Planning Cornrnissiob :,I can adopt their own rules. After discussion, the Vice-chairman instructed ! the City Attorney to add to the draft that nominations for election of officers be made the : first week in June and that the election of officers for the Planning Commission be held on i ::I::: ;l:@la tire last raeeting in June, with the provision that Commissioners can send in absentee ballots I :I;:;: if unable to be present at that meeting.
