The meeting was called to order at 7:30 PJ'U by Chairman Pro tern Roy Groin.

Others Present: City Manager Palkowski and City Engineer Jenken

After considerable discussion It was decided that the Public Works
Commission would meet regularly the third Thursday of each month
at 7OO Poiio and the next meeting would be held January 22, 1959,
at 7:30 P.M. in the City Hall Annex0

The City Manager gave a brief report to the Co mission on the general
conditions of the City water, sewage and drainage and offered the
assistance of himself and the City Engineer at any time to the
Commission,,
After discussion it was decided by the Commission that the most
urgent problems at hand for study would be water, sewage and
drainage nad methods of financing Improvements and maintenance*,
Chairman Crom requested that the members of the Commission dis-
cuss pertinent problems with local property owners in order to
obtain Ideas for the Commission to study and develop.
Chairman Crom presented a Christmas Card sent to the Public V^orks
Commission by Councilwotaan Sonnemane
