CARLSBAD SENIOR CENTER SUGGESTION COMMITTEE March 24, 1993 PRESENT: Joe Johnson Joan MacEnery Linwood Van Sue Schultz Spickard, Staff ION OF HpoKs FOR CA?lES IN DINING ROOl4 (Margaret Jacovitz) The suggestion was made that because canes are sometimes in the way and are often knocked over, perhaps hooks could be installed in the planter area in the diningroom. The Committee suggests that if you desire, you could request that a volunteer place your cane in a safer area and return it to you after you have finished your lunch. Also, you might consider purchasing the type of removable hooks utilized by ladies to secure their handbag onto a table. & (Wary Smith 61 H. Kircy?) This issue has been discussed many times. If the person has monopolized the television for more than one hour and you have in a courteous manner approached them with a request for a change and the person is uncooperative, please get a staff person to help. A sign will be posted requesting that no one person or group monopolize the television for more than one hour.
