Commissioner Whittaker called the Meeting to order at 1 :I 5 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by Sue Spickard, as follows:
Present: Commissioners Chmiel, Serrin, West, Whittaker and Zink.
PLED GF OF ALLEG IANCE was led by Chairperson Whittaker.
APPROVAI ~ OF MINUTES:
ACTION: On motion by Chairman Whittaker, Minutes of the Regular Meeting
held May 6,1999, were unanimously approved as presented.
Action On motion by Commissioner Chmiel, Commission unanimously affirmed
acceptance of the Consent Calendar.
SENIOR CENTER 10 TH ANNIVERSAR Y PARTY
Continue discussion of anniversary party. Sent an invitation to Governor Davis and his
wife to invite them. Discussed media coverage, decorations and what type of food and
entertainment to consider.
Volunteer Celebration
Commission will continue discussing what criteria to use in determining who is invited to
the Volunteer Celebrations. Commission suggestion was made to find out how much
time volunteers provide to the many programs at the Center.
