MEETING OR SENIOR COMMISSION
DATE OF MEETING: April 3, 2003
TIME OF MEETING: 1:15 p.m.
PLACE OF MEETING: CARLSBAD SENIOR CENTER
CALL TO ORDER:
Commissioner Wood called the meeting to order at 1:15 p.m.
ROLL CALL taken by Lori Swenck as follows:
Present: Commissioners Savary, Weber, West and Wood.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE led by Commissioner Wood.
CONSENT CALENDAR
Action: Commission unanimously accepted Consent Calendar.
BOY SCOUT TROOP 748
Action: Commission unanimously voted to reduce facility fee's for the
upcoming Boy Scout Pancake Breakfast on April 20, 2003.
MANAGERS REPORT
Lori Swenck gave an update on upcoming events at the Senior Center.
CHAIRPERSONS REPORT
The proposed Senior Housing site on Jefferson was voted down. One of
the concerns was not enough parking for the site.
PATIO REMODEL
The patio remodel Is still under discussion.
VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION EVENT
Thursday, April 24, 2003 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. will be held at the Senior
Center. Catered food and entertainment will be provided.
ADJOURNMENT
By proper motion, the Regular Meeting of April 3, 2003 was adjourned at
1:50 p.m.
