MEETING OF: Senior Commission
DATE OF MEETING: November 6, 2008
TIME OF MEETING: 3:00 p.m.

CALL TO ORDER: Chairperson Nelson called the Regular Meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.
ROLL CALL was taken by the secretary as follows:
Present: Nelson, Surridge, Hopkins and O'Connell
Absent: Savary
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Commissioner O'Connell led the Pledge of Allegiance.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: On motion by Commissioner O'Connell the Minutes of the
following meeting were unanimously approved:
Minutes of the Regular Meeting held October 2, 2008.
CONSENT CALENDAR:
1. AB# 1108-1 Summary Report of November 6. 2008
ACTION: On a motion by Commissioner O'Connell Commission
adopted/approved to accept the October 2, 2008 Summary Report.
AYES: Nelson, Hopkins, O'Connell and Surridge
NOES: None
ABSENT: Savary
2. AB# 1108-2 Acceptance of Donation
ACTION: On a motion by Commissioner O'Connell Commission
adopted/approved a donation of $189.00 from San Diego Foundation.
AYES: Nelson, Hopkins, O'Connell and Surridge
NOES: None
ABSENT: Savary
COMMISSIONER/STAFF REPORTS:
3. Manager's Report - Gail Lynn provided an update on October and November
Activities. Lynn also reported as of January 1, 2009 the suggested donation for
Congregate meals will be $3.50 and $4.00 for Home Delivered meals. This is
the first increase in over five years.

By proper motion, the Regular Meeting of November 6, 2008 was adjourned at 3:40 p.m.
