CALL TO ORDER: Commissioner Tweedy called the Regular Meeting to order at 3:01 p.m.
ROLL CALL:
Present: Pearson, Min, Sachs and Tweedy
Absent: Nelson
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Commissioner Tweedy
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Commission postponed the approval ofthe December 4, 2013
Minutes due to a lack of a quorum of commissioners at that meeting.
CONSENT CALENDAR:
1. AGENDA ITEM # 0114-1 SUMMARY REPORT (ACTION)
Commission postponed the approval of the December 4, 2013 Summary Report due to a
lack of a quorum of commissioners at that meeting.
DEPARTMENT REPORTS:
2. AGENDA ITEM # 0114-2 INTRODUCTION OF NEW SENIOR COMMISSIONERS
(INFORMATION
Kevin Granse introduced Sheri Sachs and Kevin Min as new commissioners.
3. AGENDA ITEM # 0114-3 (ACTION)
Commission accepted and approved to combine the November 2014 and December 2014
commission meetings to December 4, 2014 due to the holiday schedule.
4. AGENDA ITEM # 0114-4 ELECTION OF SENIOR COMMISSION OFFICERS (ACTION)
Commission postponed nominations for chair and vice chairperson for the 2014 calendar
year until next commission meeting as to include Commissioner Nelson in the election
process.
5. AGENDA ITEM # 0115-4 SENIOR CENTER REPORT (INFORMATION)
Kevin Granse, Recreation Area Manager, gave an oral report on the ongoing activities and
upcoming events.

None.
FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS:
Suggested items for future agenda included discussion of needs assessment report, senior center
budgets, and senior programming opportunities.

By proper motion, the Senior Commission Meeting of January 23, 2014 was adjourned at
4:10 p.m.
